About

The 2011 model year saw the introduction of the second generation for the Continental GT. The engine is an updated W12 with a 4.0l V8 engine that develop up to 575hp.

Engine

The 2011 Continental GT is powered by a new version of Crewe's famous 6.0l W12 powertrain. The 12-cylinder, twin-turbocharged engine delivers a power output of 575hp and 700Nm of torque which represents a 6 percent improvement in the new series' power-to-weight ratio. It is able to accelerate from a standstil to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds at a maximum speed of 318km/h. The engine is mated with a 6-speed Quickshift transmission and has an all-wheel drive configuration.

Design

The 2011 model received a classic Bentley matrix radiator grille that is more upright and a new headlamp design. At the back the new coupe’s width and stance are enhanced. In terms of shape the 2011 Continental GT has become more aerodynamic as a result of extensive wind tunnel development.

The interior comes with Bentley’s renowned refinement, offering stylish space in which up to four people can relax in total comfort. The new slim-line front seats with scalloped backs provide further 46mm of legroom for back-seat passengers and easy access to the rear cabin.
