BMW Sauber F1 was a Formula One constructor that entered the FIA Wolrd Championship between 2006 and 2009. Based in Hinwil, Switzerand and Munich, Germany, the team was formed at the end of 2005 after the takeover of the existing Sauber Formula One team by German car manufacturer BMW.
The team raced until 2009, with BMW selling its 80% stake to Peter Sauber, former owner of the Sauber team.
