The British car company Bristol builds handmade luxury automobiles since its inception in 1945. The company actually has its head office near Bristol, England, while the showroom is at Kensington, London. Being hand-built, Bristol cars have always been produced in small to medium numbers.

Bristol maintains a very close relationship with its clients, as it actually trades directly with the customers, discarding the services of any dealers or distributors. The Bristol company is probably the last wholly-British producer of luxury vehicles.
