Brittania Cars was founded by Acland Geddes in Ashwell, Hertfordshire, U.K., in 1957, to build automobiles. Acland Geddes contracted the designer John Tojeiro and in 1958 the first car, a sports coupe, was presented to the public. Sales were not very successful and soon the Company entered into financial difficulties and went bankrupt in 1960.
