General Characteristics

The Caparo T1 is a F1-inspired street legal race car. It has a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and weights about 470 kilograms. Its design is clearly inspired by the Forumla One racecars and its body is made of carbon fibre and aluminium. The minimalistic car seats up to two persons.

It speeds up with a 3,496 cc V8 engine, which produces up to 575 hp at 10,500 rpm and a torque of 420 Nm at 9,000 rpm. A 6-speed sequential gearbox is mated to the engine.

The T1 reaches a top speed of 330 km/h and accelerates  0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.
