Champion Automobilwerke GmbH was founded in Paderborn, Germany, in 1952 to assemble the Champion car, which was developed by Hermann Holbein, a former engineer of BMW.
Champion cars were small, simple and cheap, but problems caused by successive producers and sellers put an end to the history of the company in 1958.
