Chaparral Cars was a race car constructor founded by Jim Hall in the 1960s. Chaparral was responsible for many innovations in the design and mechanics of a race car. These inevitably led to many victories in the tracks during the 1960s and 1970s. In 1982, the company quit motor sports.
