In 2013, Chevrolet unveils the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 full-size pickup. Among the updates for 2014 are a new trio of EcoTec3 engines; a stronger, quieter, more comfortable cab; revised steering, suspension and brakes; solutions for managing cargo in the bed and truck capability for towing and hauling.

The Silverado has a two-tier front with separated headlights. To reduce weight, the hood is made from aluminum. The suspension has also been lightened.

The truck is available in standard and extended cab models with front-hinged rear doors. There are also two bed lengths: either 5ft 8in or 6ft 6in.

The interiors also get major upgrades including a better design to reduce wind noise, redesigned mirrors
