The Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab 2WD LT3 was launched in 2009. It is the 1st generation of the pick-up model. Powered by a 5300cc engine, this version has a power output of 300 hp. The Colorado Extended Cab 2WD LT3 stands out from the rest of the model variants, since it is the most powerful in the series line-up. For the Colorado Extended Cab 2WD LT3 with rear wheel drive configuration, power is transmitted to the wheels by a 4-speed automatic transmission. This car is the most fuel-efficient out of the series range. It is in fact the one with lowest fuel consumption. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 4 persons. This pick-up variant has rack & pinion steering. At the front it uses disc brakes and at the rear drum brakes.
The front suspension is independent while at the rear live axle is employed.
