The new Impala was presented at the 2012 New York Auto Show and it marks the launch of the model's 10th generation.

It features larger fenders and standard 18in wheels. Chevrolet says that the design was meant to be completely modern and not call back to previous Impala models. The line along the rear fender is meant to look like the Impala's emblem.

The interior features a 4.2in screen in the center of the instrument cluster; while there is also an available 8in touch screen in the center stack. Ultraseude and perforated leather are available as interior materials.

To give the Impala a more luxurious ride, Chevrolet has added sound deadening and sound absorbing material and active noise cancellation comes on the four-cylinder models.

The 2013 Impala will be available with adaptive cruise control, active braking, lane departure warning and side blind spot alert.

This version is available with a 2.5l, four-cylinder engine with a power output of 195hp.
