The new Chevrolet Sonic 1.4L turbocharged was launched in the US market in 2012 and it offers a six-speed automatic transmission.

With the automatic transmission, Chevrolet claims a 0-60mph time for the Sonic Turbo of 8 seconds; whereas it claims 7.8 seconds with the other variant's current six-speed manual.

The automatic transmission also improves the fuel economy, with the car being rated at 37mpg highway and 27mpg city.

This 4-door saloon is powered by a straight-4 engine with a power output of 138hp and 200Nm of torque.
