Cisitalia was the Consorzio Industriale Sportive Italia, founded by Piero Dusio, in 1946. The sole purpose of the company was to produce race and sports cars. The most iconic model of Cisitalia was the 202 Gran Sport Coupe designed by Pinin Farina. After WWII, Cisitalia struggled to survive building cheaper cars. The competition was tough and Cisitalia ended up closing doors in 1964.
