Introduced in the market in 2009, this Citroën C1 1.0i VTR is the 1st generation of the microcar model. Powered by a 998cc engine, the version has a power output of 67 hp. When compared to other versions in this generation, the C1 1.0i VTR is fitted with the smallest engine. Being able to reach a maximum speed of 158 km/h, it sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 13.52 seconds. This vehicle is the fastest version from the C1 range. It has the highest top speed. In terms of efficiency, the car's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 4.5 l/100km. The microcar is the most environmentally friendly out of the range, emitting least CO2. It has a boot volume of 712 l. Although it can be extended by lowering the back seats.

Produced by French manufacturer Citroën since 2005, the C1 is a city car which was developed as part of the B-Zero project by PSA Peugeot Citroën in a joint-venture with Toyota.
Thanks to this joint venture the C1, Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo were created at the same time. The Peugeot 107 is identical to the C1 other than the front bumper and front and rear lights, while the Toyota Aygo is slightly more differentiated but still obviously similar.
