Commuter Cars Corporation was founded by Rick Woodbury and his son Bryan in Spokane, Washington, in the 1990’s. The founders designed a two-seater, high performance, electric sports car, the Tango, which is considered the fastest urban car in the world. The Tango has 0.99 m (39 in) width and 2.60m (8.5 ft) long. The first running prototype was presented in 1998 and the first car was sold in 2005.
