Aston Martin and Italian coachbuilder Zagato have had a close relationship going back to the DB4 GT Zagato in 1960. To celebrate Aston Martin’s 100th anniversary, Zagato created a specially bodied DB9 for a wealthy Aston Martin enthusiast.
For Aston Martin enthusiast Peter Read, Zagato built the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial.
Zagato’s stylists gave the Spyder a much sharper, more angular look than the standard production version. The nose is blunted, and from some angles it appears that the top of the nose sticks out farther than the bottom. The rear has a similar cut-off look with the lights recessed into the tail.
