about this car
Aston Martin and Italian coachbuilder Zagato have had a close relationship going back to the DB4 GT Zagato in 1960. To celebrate Aston Martin’s 100th anniversary, Zagato created a specially bodied DBS for a wealthy Aston Martin enthusiast.
The DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial was built for a Japanese enthusiast and features the double-bubble roof from Zagato’s cars of the 50s. The one-off car is supposed to be a modern interpretation of the 2001 DB7 Zagato.
The Coupe has more swooping lines and a more retro look. The roof especially evokes the style of 60s European GT cars. It also has the complicated double bubble that flows into the rear window like the DB7 Zagato.
