De Soto was a North American automobile make, whose cars were actually produced and sold by the Chrysler car company. Produced between 1928 and 1961, De Soto cars represented Chrysler’s mid-priced car range, which was quite successful. The De Soto make was discontinued when car sales began falling dramatically.
