eTrike was launched in June 2008. Unlike other MEV vehicles, this all electric trike is sold already with the chassis assembled and not as a kit. eTrike is marketed as vehicle for anyone from 16 up to 70 years old. According to MEV, if you compare the distance per overnight charge with the consumption of an internal combustion engine then you’re looking at an equivalent of 600 mpg / 2.5l/100km.
