The Belgian car company Excelsior produced vehicles from 1904 until 1929, when it was acquired by its main rival carmaker. Excelsior was headquartered in the Belgium capital, Brussels, since 1903. The company produced car chassis that were very easy to be adapted for Grand Prix racing.
