The F12 TRS debuted at the Ferrari Cavalcade in Sicily and is the result of a specific request from one customer of the brand.
One of the strong design inspirations of the F12 TRS came from the 1957 250 Testa Rossa. So the team of Flavio Manzoni and Ferrari Centro Stile wanted to transfer to a two-seat roadster the spirit of that legendary car and paid tribute to it throught the nameplate of the car.
The vehicle maintains the same performance F12berlinetta thanks to the 6.3 liter V12 engine with 740hp and 690nm of torque. Thus, the F12 TRS reaches 100km/h in 3.1 seconds and 200km/h in 8.5 seconds.
Visually the F12 TRS has great similarities with the F12berlinetta, but Ferrari added some modifications that make it a more exclusive and radical vehicle. One is a window on the hood that allows you to see the heads of the V12 engine. Furthermore, the model shows a darkened surrounding windscreen that contrasts with the red paint.
At the rear Ferrari adopted a design evolution of the T-shaped F12berlinetta. The vehicle has a gentle slope from the central tunnel which aims to create a greater connection between its interior and exterior.
Inside the design team opted for a more minimalist look by reducing the number of buttons and controls. Window buttons were also removed as well as the central air vents, the glove compartment, carpets and supports. The trimming combines Alcantara, leather and matte black carbon fiber.
