The Mondial Quattrovalvole was the successor of the Mondial 8Ferrari Mondial 8 Gen.1Italy, 1980 > 19822 versions
in 1982. The two models were basically identical but the new model's engine had four valves per cylinder, justifying the Quattrovalvole designation.

The new four valves per cylinder heads produced a significant increase in power output, and thus road performance, which had been a criticism of the Mondial 8.

The Mondial Quattrovalvole continued the same wedge body shape theme with the radiator grille beneath the front bumper. The overall shape was identical to the preceding model

The Quattrovalvole was kept in production between 1982 and 1985, during which time 1145 examples were produced.
