Engine Updates The 2013 Flex (available by late 2012) is powered by the same engines as in the previous year: a 3.5 liter V6 in either turbocharged or naturally aspirated forms. The normally aspirated 3.5 liter V6 has been upgraded for 2013. It produces 285hp, 23 more than last year, and 255 lb-ft of torque, a 7 lb-ft improvement.
