Geo is a subdivision car brand of the north American carmaker Chevrolet, which in turn is a subsidiary of General Motors. The Geo car make was introduced in 1989 to sell a range of compact cars and SUVs. Like its parent companies, Geo had its headquarters at Detroit, Michigan, United States. Eventually the Geo make was absorbed by Chevrolet and no more Geo cars were marketed.
