G40 was launched in 2010. Three versions were introduced: a racing version for adults, a racing version for youngsters and a road version built around the same FIA chassis. The G40 with its light-weight composite body was very well received by the press. The race car is the winner in class at the Britcar 24h.

Ginetta was created in 1958 by the Walklett brothers, who joined their different skills to build cars. Bob was in charge for sales, Trevers was the responsible for the design, Ivor for engineering, and Douglas handled management.
