The German automobile producer Hans Glas started as a farm machinery repairing company in 1895. Glas was based in Dingolfing, Germany, where it was best known for building small cars, in particular the quite famous Goggomobil car. The German carmaker was eventually acquired by BMW and a few years later it stopped producing Glas cars.
