about this car
Originally introduced as the Goggomobil T600 at the 1957 Frankfurt Motor Show, Glas rebranded the car in 1959 as Isar. The company marketed the car as a "big Goggomobile". The Isar ended up with a less than positive reputation due to several reliability issues and technical problems.
This car was part of the The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum that included almost 200 cars. The collection grew for 15 years and was featured in its own museum in Madison, Georgia. The owner of the collection, Bruce Weiner, decided to sell it in auction in the beginning of 2013.
