Review

Venom GT was launched in 2011. It is based on Lotus Exige but it was extensively modified by Hennessey. The combination of a light weight, less than 1100kg/2400lb, with the powerful GM 6.2l V8 engine, makes the Venom GT one of the fastest cars in the world. Announced acceleration is 2.5 from 0 to 60mph (around 100km) and top speed is 267 mph/430km/h.
