The HPD ARX-03b is the updated version of the ARX-01d. It uses the same HR28TT V6 which Honda released in 2011. The bodywork is modified slightly from the outgoing model to include mandatory openings at the top of the wheel wells and the 1020 mm center shark fin. The front and rear clips have also been modified to change the aerodynamics.
For 2012 the ARX-03b is campaigned by Level 5 Motorsports, with drivers Scott Tucker, Christophe Bouchut and Luis Diaz running in car #33, and Starworks Motorsport that enters the race with the #44 car driven by Vincente Potolicchio, Ryan Dalziel and Thomas Kimber-Smith.
