Hummer is a brand of off-road vehicles. Its cars are known to be the civilian versions of military vehicles. The brand was first owned by AM General, from 1992 to 1998. It was then sold to General Motors and in 2009 it was bought by the Chinese company Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Company Ltd.
