The new Azera uses Hyundai's current Fluidic Sculpture design language that uses a lot of curves over the hood and sides that can look a little busy, especially for a car that is marketed as upscale.

The interior is very luxurious with standard leather and lots of room: 45in of legroom and 40in of headroom in the front more than the Nissan Maxima, Toyota Avalon, Buick LaCrosse and Ford Taurus. It has LED accent lighting in the door panels, and the lines all blend into the center of the radio stack. It has a standard dimming rearview mirror and standard 10-way power seats for the driver. The front and rear seats are heated as standard, as is dual-zone climate control and 7in LCD screen with navigation. Ventilated front seats are also an option.

It is powered by a 3.3 liter, direct-injected V6 with 293hp and 20mpg city and 29mpg on the highway, which is better than the Nissan Maxima, Ford Taurus, Lexus ES350 and Buick LaCrosse V6. The six-speed automatic was created in-house by Hyundai, and the car is front-wheel drive.

Azera

Azera is an executive car launched in 2005. It was Hyundai’s flagship model in the United States of America, until the arrival of Genesis. The model was already sold in some markets as Grandeur, but the name Azera was only used in the 2005 car. A new generation was already announced to debut in 2012 with more powerful engines.   more
