HCD-14 is the name chosen for Hyundai's new concept introduced in the beginning of 2013. The concept includes gesture controls for the interior where drivers would wave their hands to control certain functions. It will also feature improved driving dynamics compared to previous Hyundais.
The front of the car is quite flat with a broad, chrome grill with smaller, chrome air inlets to either side. The headlights are nearly as flat at the front of the car and are made up of five, gilled lenses. The rest of the car is much more aerodynamic with a long arc from the windshield to the trunk. The line from the hood through the door and to the trunk is a perfectly straight line, and the sides are also quite unadorned. The rear of the car echoes the front with gilled taillights and chrome tailpipes.
