ix20 is a small multi-purpose vehicle (MVP) presented in 2010. It is the latest model of Hyundai’s “i” range. Hyundai wanted to move away from the “boxy” look traditionally associated with MPVs and give them a sportier design. The model was designed in Germany.

The all-new ix20 is available with a choice between two petrol engines and two diesel, all of them Euro 5 compliant. They are available with either manual or automatic transmissions. Except for the 1.6 with automatic transmission, all the engines in the ix20 rangeare available in Blue Drive™ form, which includes Integrated Stop & Go (ISG) technology, low rolling-resistance tyres and an alternator management system (AMS).
