The ix35 Fuel Cell was first introduced in 2011. In 2013 the vehicle started to be produced.

The ix35’s fuel cell powertrain with 134hp and has a limited top speed of 160km/h (100mph). It takes 12.5 seconds to accelerate to 100km/h. A full tank of hydrogen gives the car a 594km (369 miles) range.

The ix35 Fuel Cell has its own grill, bumper, fog lights, instrument cluster and 7in GPS that are unique to the model.
