The fixed-head coupé features the biggest engine offered. This Veloster 1.6 blue Style reaches the 100km/h mark in 9.7 seconds at a top speed of 201 km/h. The car is the fastest version of this series. It has the highest top speed in the line-up. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. It features an average fuel consumption of 5.9 l/100km that translates into 137 g/km of CO2 emissions. In terms of CO2 emissions, it is the most efficient choice in the Veloster line-up.

Unveiled at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Hyunday Veloster is a compact sports car which began sales in the summer of 2011. The model came to occupy the empty spot left by the Tiburon when it was discontinued in 2008.
The model differs from its competitors for example by having one door on the driver side and two on the passenger side. The Veloster uses the new BlueLink system from Hyundai, similar to the OnStar used in GM vehicles.
