Debuted in 2011, the Hyundai Veloster 1.6 Premium belongs to the 1st generation of the Veloster model. Powered by a 1591cc engine, this version has a power output of 140 hp. The Veloster 1.6 Premium features the biggest engine offered. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. This vehicle reaches 100km/h in 9.7 seconds at a top speed of 201 km/h. Unveiled at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Hyunday Veloster is a compact sports car which began sales in the summer of 2011. The model came to occupy the empty spot left by the Tiburon when it was discontinued in 2008. The model differs from its competitors for example by having one door on the driver side and two on the passenger side.
