XKR-S (United Kingdom, 2011)

The XKR-S is fitted with a supercharged V8 engine that produces 550PS and 680Nm of torque, being able to reach a top speed of 300 km/h and to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

With this performance level, the XKR-S is the quickest Jaguar ever. According to the British brand it is also the most agile, responsive and driver-focused. The XK’s strong, lightweight aluminium body architecture was developed to maximise both handling and economy. Other enhancements include an overhauled suspension and a new aerodynamically-driven design.

Jaguar will be premiering the XKR-S, the brand’s most potent series production car, at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Full details, images and video of the XKR-S will be available on Geneva press day – March 1.
