The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a mid-size SUV produced since 1992 based on a unibody chassis. The current generation of the Grand Cherokee was introduced in 2010 for the 2011 model year.

The 2011 model has a new body design, with improved aerodynamics and stiffness. For the first time the Grand Cherokee features four wheel independent suspension. The engine range includes the new 3.6 L Pentastar V6 and 5.7 L Hemi V8. The model offers three different four wheel drive systems: Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II and is available in five trim levels: Laredo, Laredo X, Limited, Overland, and Overland Summit.

In 2012 a performance SRT-8 version will be available.
