The One:1 was launched at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and has 1340hp of power, clearly superior to its most direct competitors, including the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. The 1340kg weight from the One:1 gives it a power to weight ratio of 01:01, a number that gave origin to the name of the vehicle.
The One:1 is based on the Agera R and according to Koenigsegg it may be able to reach a maximum speed of 439km/h, a value which would make it the fastest road car in the world, above the Henessey Venom GT and the Veyron Super Sport. According to the Swedish brand this performance is possible thanks to the "high power and high capacity rpm, combined with strong tires and active aerodynamics."
In the year Koenigsegg is celebrating 20 years of existence, the brand is launching the One:1 with a 20% lighter carbon fibre chassis than the Agera R. The hypercar is equipped with active aerodynamics, active height variation, suspension variable rigideness, upgraded tires, and a titanium exhaust.
The active aerodynamic elements consist of independent flaps on both sides of the vehicle under the front splitter and a hydraulic dual-plan rear wing. This allows One:1 to reach a 610kg downforce at a speed of 257km/h.
Another impressive feature of the new One:1 is the ability of the car to achieve a force of 2G in curves, using legal road tires.
The car can also record lap times and telemetry via an iPhone app, with owners being able to receive software updates through this application.
