Version History

The second Countach Prototype was developed in order to bring the car closer to a production model. Major modifications were seen in the analog instruments, the 4-liter engine (later available on the LP400 production model), different bumper and headlights. Also larger air scoops were added to the new vertical radiators because of insufficient cooling of the first prototype engine. They had to change the entire cooling system and drop the horizontally front mounted radiators for this new vertical ones with scoops resembling a jet engine intake. All of these modifications were performed after intensive testing on various roads and circuits.
