History

The Miura SV is the most popular version of this Lamborghini model. Its short time in production and low number of units produced, plus the fact that it has several refinements comparing with previous versions, made this car the most sought after version amongst the Miuras.

Released in March of 1971 and produced until October of 1973, only 150 units were made.

Body and Design

The Miura SV had significant improvements that made it the most popular Miura. Apart from the powerful engine, altered carburetors and refined suspension, the main changes on the SV’s were the wider rear stance, wider wheels, and removal of the “eyelashes” around the headlights. The interior was also in leather, rather than vinyl used in previous versions. Some of P400 and P400S versions were actually upgraded with the SV modifications.
