Lancia introduced to the public its Aurelia model at the 1950 Turin Motor Show.
Designer Vittorio Jano developed the style for the Aurelia’s bodywork. The Lancia Aurelia was both the first automobile to be powered by a production V6 engine and the first real Gran Tourer.

For the six series of its lifetime, the Aurelia model range was completed with coupe, sedan and convertible versions. It is estimated that 13.488 copies of the Aurelia were built since its production began in 1950 until it ceased in 1958.
