The Thema is an executive car produced by Lancia. The model was initially manufactured from 1984 to 1994 and was first presented at the 1984 Turin Motor Show. The first generation of the Thema used the Type Four platform which was shared by the Alfa Romeo 164, Fiat Croma and Saab 9000. Designed by Pininfarina, it was available as either a sedan or station wagon and was amongst the most comfortable European cars of the time.

In the beginning of 2011 it was announced that the second generation of the Chrysler 300C would be sold under the name Lancia Thema in all European markets with the exception of the UK which kept the Chrysler brand.
