A new V8 diesel engine, a new 8-speed transmission, two Terrain Response® upgrades and slight external styling changes were the new features of Land Rover’s 2011 Range Rover.
In 2011 the Range Rover is still available with the same 5.0-litre LR-V8, supercharged petrol engine fitted with the ZF HP28 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces a power of 510 PS and 625 Nm of torque and gives the Range Rover the capability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.
Other new features on the 2011 Range Rover include the Terrain Response® system in the form of Hill Start Assist and Gradient Acceleration Control. In the interior optional illuminated treadplates for the front doors, new transmission controls for the diesel model, and improvements to the entertainment system have been added. In the exterior the 2011 Range Rover features the new ‘Jupiter’ grilles and side vents for the diesel models.
