The Range Rover Sport is a luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced since 2005. The vehicle has a front engine and four wheel drive layout.

The 2010 model year received a facelift with a new front-end, with new headlamps, grille and bumper as well as revised taillamps and rear bumper. Interior revisions include a new fascia, steering wheel, door linings, seats, instruments and switchgear. The 2010 model offers three new engines including an all-new direct injected, all-aluminium 5.0 litre petrol V8 in naturally-aspirated and supercharged guises. The naturally aspirated model produces 283 kW (385 PS; 380 hp) while the supercharged produces 373 kW (507 PS; 500 hp). Also new is a revised 3.0 litre version of the current 2.7 litre TDV6 producing 180 kW (240 PS; 240 hp) and 600 N·m (440 lb·ft). The 2010 model year Sport is also fitted with the new ZF HP28 6-speed automatic transmission.

In 2011 the Range Rover Sport was equipped with a new version of the 3.0 LR-TDV6 diesel engine, new colour options and a new Limited Edition.

2013 Updates

For 2013, Land Rover is offering the Range Rover Sport with unique wheels, optional carbon fiber interior trim and red Brembo brakes on the Supercharged model.

In addition to the new wheels and nicer trim, the Range Rover Sport will be offered with a wider range of interior color options. The new five-spoke aluminum wheels are painted in Sparkle Silver. The Range Rover Sport will be offered in Barolo, Barossa, Causeway, Havana and Mariana as exterior colors. Inside, there are two, new interior options with dark wood or lighter-colored seats or light wood with dark-colored seats. For an additional cost, buyers can opt for a carbon fiber trim interior.

The Range Rover Sport comes with a Harmon Kardon 380W stereo with 11 speakers or an optional 825W stereo with 17 speakers. It also has a 7in touch screen for navigation that shows the map and plays DVD simultaneously.

Power comes from either a 3.0l diesel with 265ps and 600Nm of torque that produces 230g/km of CO2 or tuned to 211ps and 520Nm of torque that produces 224g/km of CO2. The other option is the 5.0l V8 with 375ps and 510Nm of torque or a supercharged version of that engine with 510ps and 625Nm of torque. They produce 327g/km of CO2 and 348g/km of CO2, respectively.

The diesels comes with an 8-speed automatic, and the petrol engines come with a 6-speed automatic.
