The Range Rover Sport SVR unveiled in 2014 is the fastest, most dynamic and most powerful Land Rover model ever.

The SVR version gets a 5.0 V8 Supercharged engine with 550hp and 680Nm of torque, 40hp and 56Nm more compared to the Range Rover Sport V8 S/C. Coupled with an optimized eight-speed automatic transmission ZF 8HP70, the Range Rover Sport SVR can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and reach a maximum electronically limited speed of 260 km/h speed. The all-wheel drive chassis has also been upgraded to complement the exceptional performance delivered under all conditions.

Despite the increased power and performance, the Special Vehicles Operations managed to keep the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the Range Rover SVR unchanged compared to the V8 Supercharged on which it is based. Thus the new sports version has an average consumption of 12.8l/100km and produces 325 g/km of CO2.

To demonstrate the dynamic capabilities of the first SVR model Land Rover, the brand took the vehicle to the German circuit of Nürburgring. It was there that the Range Rover Sport SVR showed his speed by completing a lap in 8 minutes and 14 seconds, one of the fastest times ever recorded by a production series SUV.

The Range Rover Sport SVR incorporates two new world-firsts in the range of the popular SUV model. On the one hand, an active two-stages exhaust with electric drive that provides at high revs, a sound that recalls racing cars. On the other, the exclusive optional 22" alloy wheels and 295/40 R22 Continental SportContact tires optimize performance and maximize the performance of the Range Rover Sport SVR.

Improvements in exterior design ensure stunning visual impact produced by SVR, in addition to enhancing the cooling and aerodynamic efficiency. Designed exclusively by the Special Vehicle Operations team of Jaguar Land Rover, the Range Rover Sport SVR features a new front bumper with trapezoidal air vents and the inscription Range Rover in dark tone on the hood, which also features optimized air inlets and a new grille with a dark finish that contrasts with the design of LED lighting incorporated in the headlights.

On the side the new aluminum fins feature a muscular design with new side louvers that provide a greater visual prominence.

At the rear, the Range Rover Sport logo SVR and high spoiler with a center stop light reinforce the sporty character of the vehicle. The unique rear bumper incorporates a diffuser in Gloss Black that includes the unique quad exhaust tips from SVR, which instantly distinguish this high-performance model.

Inside, the equipment from Special Vehicle Operations from Jaguar Land Rover distinguished the SVR from other versions with leather sports seats. These comfortable seats provide extra lateral support for sporty driving and incorporate 16 electrical adjustments that do not affect the position of the driver in sporty driving or ample legroom in the rear section of the cabin.

The sportiness of the vehicle is also present in the rear seats completely redesigned to reflect the improvements implemented in the front seats. The result is a four-seat cockpit with room for an occasional fifth passenger. The new rear seats are reclining for maximum comfort and can be completely folded down in sections 60/40 to provide up to 1761 liters of cargo space. The seats incorporate Windsor leather with diamond design, Ebony Black seams and edged reflectors. All seats feature the Range Rover Sport SVR logo.
