Lexus is the high class division of the Toyota Group. It was founded is 1989 with the launch of its first model, the Lexus LS 400 in the United States. In 2005 it was the first Japanese luxury brand to be launched in its home market. The company offers luxury sedans, coupés, convertibles and SUVs as well as hybrid vehicles. It is now one of the luxury carmakers with more units sold per year.
