In 2012 Status Grand Prix took on an ambitious sports car project to develop a car alongside its existing GP3 Series activity to enter the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2013. The team enters at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a Lola B12/80 Coupe powered by Judd's HK 3.6 V8 engine.

The team races car #30 with Alexander Sims, Yelmer Buurman and Romain Iannetta behind the wheel.
