Lotus launched two special limited editions of the Lotus Elise and Lotus Exige sports cars to celebrate Roger Becker’s, former Director of Vehicle Engineering, 44 years of servic. Both cars received the name RGB Special edition which stands for Roger Becker’s name. The Elise SC RGB Special Edition and the Exige S RGB Special Editions were available by September 2010.
The Elise SC RGB Special Edition is powered by a supercharged 220 ps 1.8 litre engine which enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
The two limited editions are available in four colours, Aspen White, Starlight Black, Solar Yellow & Carbon Grey and every unit is identified by a numbered interior plaque, Roger Becker’s signature on the side of the bodywork and special monochrome Lotus nose badge.
