The 2013 M6 Gran Coupe shares a twin-turbo V8 with the M6 coupe and M6 Convertible. Unlike its siblings, the Gran Coupe will seat four passengers comfortably. BMW also added carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) features that the other cars do not have, for now at least.

The engine is the same 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 with stop/start that makes 560hp and 502lb-ft of torque from the M5 and M6 with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and limited-slip differential.

The M6 Gran Coupe will sprint to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds, which is the same as the M6 coupe, and has an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h, but BMW offers the M Driver’s Package that raises the limit to 305km/h. It uses 9.9l/100km (24mpg US or 28.5mpg imp) and emits 232g/km of CO2.
