Mclaren set a new standard for road cars when it released the F1 in 1992. This supercar was at the time the fastest production car, and it still holds that record for naturally aspirated production car. The car wasn’t designed for the tracks, but a race version of the F1 did very well in motorsport, winning several races, including Le Mans.
